The Singapore Reinsurers' Association (SRA) successfully held its 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 21, 2025, at The Westin Singapore. The meeting was an opportunity for members to reflect on a year of continued growth and renewed priorities, and to reaffirm the association's commitment to Advocacy and Representation, Professional Excellence, Engagement, and Market Development.
Mr. Kenrick Law, in his first AGM as SRA Chair, outlined the SRA's forward vision, emphasizing its role in leading change within Singapore and across the region. He highlighted two key focus areas for the coming year: attracting and Nurturing Talent within the industry, and uniting the industry on Sustainability initiatives that create meaningful environmental and social impact.
Looking back at 2024, the SRA celebrated a record-breaking 20th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) with 3319 delegates. Plans are underway for the 2025 SIRC, scheduled for November 3-6, under the theme "Staying Ahead, Future Ready". The SRA also continued its strategic engagement with regulators and other industry players.
The AGM concluded with a "Drinks-n-Bites" session, fostering connections and camaraderie among members.
