We had a productive kick-off of our 1st SRA EXCO meeting for 2024, where our EXCO members discussed ways we could do more for our members in terms of their professional development and how we should and could collaborate with like-minded companies and industry bodies to benefit the larger community.
We also invited two of our seven sub-committee representatives, the Human Resource sub-committee (HRSC) convenor, Ms. Joanna Tan, and the Women- in-Reinsurance (WiRE) deputy president, Ms. Shilpa Pankaj, to share their plans and priorities for 2024 and beyond. Supported by individuals who volunteer their time and resources for the respective sub-committees, HR and WiRE presented a series of activities, events, and programs focusing specifically on attracting, connecting, and developing young and diverse talents for the reinsurance industry.
