An online webinar organised by the SRA Education Sub-Committee

DATE / TIME:                   Tuesday, 28 September 2021

                                           2.00pm – 3.30pm

WEBINAR OUTLINE:    The SRA Education Sub-Committee (ESC) has been organising an annual educational seminar to raise awareness of our younger generation of industry practitioners on topics that are pertinent to our industry. Over the past few years, these seminars had focused on topics such as Cyber Risks (2x), InsurTech and on ‘Urbanisation: Risk & Resilience’ at our last in-person seminar in Sep 2019.

This year, the ESC will be organising a 90-minute webinar entitled ‘Demystifying ILS’, featuring presentations by a reinsurer, lawyer and a sponsor, followed by a panel discussion, which aims is to raise awareness of Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) as a product class – how it operates, its applications, how it is arranged, the recent issues, etc.
